Sight Support Sport Talk

Join us via Zoom Chat,  on Wednesday evening 9th December from 7.30pm - 9pm

This is a group aimed at blind & visually impaired people who love sport and those who are curious about what taking part will mean for them. Dispelling myths and explaining the measures taken to ensure safety.

If you want to find out more information about VI sport opportunities in your area, talk to others about mainstream sport, make new friends and to get inspired, then this is the place for you.

There will be a theme for each meeting, but the floor is open to discussion on all topics sport related.

The group will meet on Zooms video & phone chat and is open to anyone from the Bristol, Bath, South Glos and Wiltshire areas.

The theme for this session is:

My VI Sporting Life
Richard Burt- Winter Paralympic Skier

It is all downhill from here. Richard Burt, Winter Paralympic Skier tells his story about the excitement of rocketing down the slopes whilst tethered to a guide.

My Sporting Life - A chat with a visually impaired Sports Personality about their experiences and what it takes to be an elite level blind or visually impaired athlete
