This is a group aimed at blind & visually impaired people who love sport and those who are curious about what taking part will mean for them. Dispelling myths and explaining the measures taken to ensure safety.
If you want to find out more information about VI sport opportunities in your area, talk to others about mainstream sport, make new friends and to get inspired, then this is the place for you.
There will be a theme for each meeting, but the floor is open to discussion on all topics sport related.
The group will meet on Zooms video & phone chat and is open to anyone from the Bristol, Bath, South Glos and Wiltshire areas.

Flying with Flyerz. Hockey for disabled people.

Flying with Flyerz. An insight to disabled hockey and a part of Access Sport.
Lizzie's talk, is on what inclusive hockey is all about for disabled people and how you can get involved!
Flyerz’ hockey is the name widely associated with grass roots disability inclusive hockey in Great Britain.
There are now more than 20 Flyerz sections across England, Wales and Scotland, providing inclusive hockey for disabled people.
Access Sport is a charity aiming to level the playing field, so that everyone regardless of ability or background can take part in sport and physical activity.
