Information & Advice

Our team of Sight Loss Advisors are here to help over the phone, video link via email and face to face.

Covid-19 Update:

Our team can provide telephone support, or face-to-face meetings.  If you would like an appointment please contact us to discuss the best way to support you.

We have measures in place to enable us to provide a safe service.  These include limiting the number of people in our meeting hubs and resource centres, ensuring space for social distancing and enhanced hygiene procedures.  We are also limiting physical contact within our own team by creating working partnership ‘bubbles’.

If you are not able to visit us, we can arrange for a Community Sight Loss Advisor to visit you in your home.  Do give us a call to discuss the best way for us to meet.

How our team can help

We offer information, advice and guidance, as well as practical and emotional support to help people in their daily lives.

We run regular information and advice drop-in sessions across the region, providing information and advice local to you.  You can call us on weekdays and the team will answer any questions you have.  You don’t need an appointment to drop in, or to call us.

Our centres

We have two resource centres in Bristol and Devizes.  These are equipped with a wide range of assistive technology, lighting and magnifiers which could help you manage your sight loss.  If you would like to visit one of our Resource Centres to talk to an advisor or to try out some products, give us a call on 0117 322 4885 (Bristol) or 01380 723 682 (Devizes) to arrange an appointment.
