Services Coordinator

Contract: Part Time (21 hours per week)

Location: Devizes

Salary: £21,000 per annum

Sight Support West of England exists to reduce the impact of sight loss. We are seeking a proactive and organised team player to provide coordination and support to our client services team across the region.

The Services Coordinator is a realtively new role, with responsibilities including managing team systems, client database, and resource centres, and working with the Head of Services to shape services and monitor the impact of the team’s work. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate who can apply their experience of providing support and managing systems and processes to help Sight Support’s services team increase their efficiency and effectiveness in delivering high quality services to blind and partially sighted people across the region.

This is an exciting time of growth and development at Sight Support and we are looking for a strong team player who will relish the challenge of developing the role and helping to embed new services and ways of working across the team.

Charity Shop Manager

Contract: Full Time (37.5 hours per week)

Location: Salisbury

Salary: £19,500 per annum

As part of our ambition to diversify our income sources, we are looking to open several charity retail outlets over the next 2-3 years, with the aim of increasing brand recognition, increasing our presence in the community, and raising funding for the charity.  Having secured premises in Salisbury, we are aiming to open our first shop at the end of September 2021.

This is an exciting period of growth for us, and we are committed to the highest standards of customer and client support in our shops.  In addition to our first charity shop, our new Salisbury premises will also house a consultation room and resource centre for clients living with sight loss.  

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking shop manager to help us to make a success of this new venture, running a profitable outlet which showcases the charity and helps us to secure the long-term support of the communities we operate within.
