Covid-19 Update: Our Sight Loss Advisors are available every day to provide information, advice and guidance on all issues around living with sight loss. As well as telephone support they are able to offer an appointment only face to face service. If you would like an appointment please contact us and we can discuss the best way to make this happen.
We have measures in place to enable us to provide a safe service, these include limiting the number of people in our meeting hubs and resource centres, re-modelling our working areas to provide space for social distancing, implemented new hygiene procedures and limiting physical contact within our own team by creating working partnership ‘bubbles’.
If you are not able to visit us, we can arrange for a Community Sight Loss Advisor to visit you in your home. Do give us a call to discuss the best way for us to meet.
Our dedicated team can provide the answers to your questions; signpost you to support groups, offer advice for family and carers or make a referral for you to access support from one of our partner organisations. If you or someone you know is visually impaired, we’re here to help.
We offer information, advice and guidance, as well as giving people practical and emotional support to help them in their daily lives.
Our team operate from two fully equipped resource centres in Bristol and Devizes, offering a wide range of assistive technology, lighting and magnifiers which could help you manage your sight loss.
