In February 2020 Vision West of England will start running Living with Sight Loss courses for people diagnosed with sight loss in South Gloucestershire, Bristol and Bath.

The course is designed to give clients, carers and family, support and information that will help them with everyday living. Packed with hints, tips and practical demonstrations aimed at encouraging continued independence, the courses will also provide opportunities to connect people going through similar experiences and provide opportunities for peer and group support.

During the course you can expect information and advice on a range of topics including understanding welfare rights, staying independent, using technology, eye health and wellbeing.

We will talk about and assist you with technology including tablets and phones.

We will also cover leisure, hobbies and interests and are able to provide information about other organisations and services.

This is a 2-day course and we are pleased to announce that the first course will run on the 17th and 24th February 2020 from 10am to 3.30pm.  The course will be at the Armadillo Centre, Station Road, Yate, Bristol
