Donate to Sight Support

Please support us. Your donation, no matter how big or small, makes a huge difference.

Every donation we receive goes towards helping those who have been newly diagnosed with sight loss or are living with sight loss and, with the number of people with sight loss likely to increase significantly in the coming years, every penny counts.

Please don’t forget to Gift Aid your donation if you can! It means we receive an extra 25p for every £1 donated, at no extra cost to you.

How will your donation help?

Every penny we raise helps us to provide valuable services to people living with sight loss. Examples of how your donations might be used include:

  • £10 could pay for a USB reader, which can read books and newspapers to people with sight loss
  • £25 could help pay for regular technology training sessions, teaching visually impaired people how to use special phones and tablets
  • £50 could go towards the cost of a sight advisor visiting an isolated or frightened client at home
  • £100 could go towards running a peer group support session in a community hub

"The biggest difference has been to my confidence. I will now do things around the house like washing up and making breakfast which I wouldn’t have tried before. I am able to go out to the shop, and feel confident crossing the road."
