A friendly volunteer led social group will take place at the Mary de Crypt on the last Wednesday of each month.

Our social groups are a place where people with sight loss can come together, share experiences, swap tips and tricks for living with sight loss and most importantly chat, relax and enjoy each other’s company. Our groups are run by lovely volunteers who will make you feel welcome. Sight loss doesn’t have to mean being isolated, so why not come along to one of our friendly social groups. You can just drop in.
Also taking place on the last Wednesday of each month is a Community Sight Loss Advice Hub. A Community Sight Loss Advisor will be at Brunswick Baptist Church with a display of daily living aids and resources that can help with everyday tasks. They can provide information, advice and guidance on anything to do with living with sight loss. You can drop in between 10-11am for advice and information or you can call to make an appointments for either 11am or 12pm.
