First Steps – Introduction to Rehabilitation & Getting Out and About

If you’re adjusting to life with sight loss, knowing where to start can feel overwhelming. In this first session of our Moving Forward Course, our rehabilitation team will introduce key skills to help you stay independent and navigate safely. We’ll also explore the support available from local services and what to expect when accessing rehabilitation.
Whether you’re newly diagnosed or looking to regain confidence, this session will provide practical advice to help you take those important first steps.
This course is designed as a three-session programme, and we encourage you to attend all three sessions for the best experience. However, if there’s a particular session that interests you, you’re welcome to attend just that one.
