Join us online for a relaxed, friendly discussion for working age blind and partially sighted adults. Whether you’re curious about the topic, would like to hear other people’s experiences or simply enjoy a good conversation, you’ll receive a warm welcome.
December’s topic: Festive & Fearless – Navigating Christmas with Sight Loss
Let’s be honest, the festive season can be wonderful, but it can also come with its fair share of stress. From figuring out how to roast the turkey without turning it into charcoal to wrapping presents so they don’t look like they’ve been chewed by the dog, Christmas can bring its own practical challenges when you’re blind or partially sighted.
Join us for a relaxed, cosy online get-together where we can swap tips, share a laugh and talk about how we actually manage this time of year.
We’ll be chatting about everything from cooking Christmas dinner and tackling present shopping and wrapping, to managing the busyness of the festive season and protecting your energy so you can actually enjoy it.
This isn’t a formal webinar or lecture. It’s a friendly space to share your own experiences, pick up some useful life hacks, ask questions and hear what works for other people. And if you don’t have any tips to share, that’s absolutely fine – come along to listen and pick up some ideas.
Grab a mince pie, pour your favourite festive drink and come and join the conversation!
