If you feel left behind with today’s increasingly digital world…

If you want to use a smart device but don’t know where to start..

Or if your sight loss is making it hard to use your mobile or tablet…

This event is for you!

Discover Tech Events are a series of sessions that are taking place across the region this September. The events are specially designed for people living with sight loss. On the day you will be able to:

• Try out devices in a friendly environment. Test tablets, smart speakers, and electronic magnifiers – no pressure to buy, just explore and have a go.
• Discover helpful apps that that make living with sight loss that little bit easier.
• Get personalised accessibility advice for the devices you already own, ensuring you can get the most out of your gadget. If you need help with basics like setting up and understanding how to get going, our trained volunteers will be happy to help.

Trained volunteers will also be able to provide follow-up 1:1 support to you and ensure you are confident and competent with your device and can do what it is you would like to do.

Friends and family are very welcome to attend and learn with you.
