This social group takes place on the first Friday of each month at Guide Dogs South West Regional Centre.
About this social group
This social group offers a relaxed, friendly space for blind and partially sighted people to spend time together, have a chat, and enjoy each other’s company. People attend for different reasons, from meeting others locally to sharing experiences or simply enjoying a cuppa in good company. Friends, family members, and carers are also welcome to attend.
The group is volunteer led, and new faces are always welcome.
Sight loss advice available alongside the social group
Alongside this social group, a Community Sight Loss Hub is available, offering information and advice from a Community Sight Loss Advisor.
The Advisor can:
- provide practical advice and information
- demonstrate daily living aids and equipment
- share details of local services and support
