Please note that this social group takes place at this venue on the Second Monday of each month between 1pm and 3pm.
Our social groups are a place where people with sight loss can come together, share experiences, swap tips and tricks for living with sight loss and most importantly chat, relax and enjoy each other’s company. Our groups are run by lovely volunteers who will make you feel welcome. Sight loss doesn’t have to mean being isolated, so why not come along to one of our friendly social groups.
We also have the Thornbury Resource Centre at 18 High Street (above the Sight Support West of England charity shop – stair lift available), where you can get information and advice on living with sight loss. Your Community Sight Loss Advisor will be on hand by appointment every Monday with a display of daily living aids and resources that can help with everyday tasks. They can provide information, advice and guidance on anything to do with living with sight loss.
