Activities are organised by a range of local and national organisations and may include sport, creative projects and family events. Inclusive sport and leisure

Flyerz Hockey – Bristol
Fortnightly inclusive hockey sessions for disabled and neurodivergent children and adults. Free, with equipment provided and no experience needed.

Wheelchair Basketball – Kingswood
Weekly sessions for children with additional needs and their siblings. Sports wheelchairs provided.

Super 1s Girls’ Cricket – Hanham
Free inclusive cricket sessions for girls aged 12–25 with SEND.

Inclusive Tennis – Winterbourne
For ages 8–18 who are disabled, d/Deaf or neurodivergent. The first session is free.

City of Bristol Para Swimming
Trials for confident swimmers aged 7+ with basic stroke ability. Sessions are flexible to individual needs.

Family and early years

Guide Dogs Children’s Services
Guide Dogs provides support for children with vision impairment and their families, from independent living skills to family events. My Time to Play (ages 0–4) helps children develop through play. Groups are currently running in Bath & North East Somerset, with new ones planned in South Gloucestershire and North Somerset.

VICTA Early Years Sensory Discovery Packs
VICTA offers free sensory packs for children aged 0–4 who are vision impaired. Each pack contains specially chosen sensory items to help families enjoy playtime together, plus online play ideas to help parents get started.
