A series of talks aimed at those newly diagnosed with sight loss. Starting on Monday the 6th of June, the talks are delivered in 6 weekly zoom sessions and cover many aspects of living with sight loss.

To help anyone newly diagnosed with sight loss, we have developed a series of talks aimed at introducing the range of equipment, support services and advice available to help address the challenges of losing sight. These sessions are aimed at people who are blind, partially sighted or the family and friends of those who are.
The 6 sessions will take place via Zoom video and will cover a range of topics relating to many aspects of being blind or partially sighted. Each session will last 1 hour and be fully interactive.
You can attend one or all of the session, just pick what seems interesting or useful to you.
First Steps: An introduction to Rehab.
Mondqy 6th June, 4.00 – 5.00 pm.
Being diagnosed with sight loss can be a confusing time, if you do now know what direction to turn, this session will answer those questions and will provide details of how rehabilitation can support you to regain your independence.
